About

“I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace.”
-Taylor Swift, “My Tears Ricochet”

Welcome. I’m pleased to meet you. What you are about to embark on is a very personal story. One close to my heart. The first I ever seriously considered transforming into a novella.

Again, welcome. This journey is daunting. You are my first audiences. Not all the chapters are written yet so some will show up before I’m completely happy with the editing.

Thank you for your trust in this expedition of memory.

About me? I was born in Montana but remember none of it. I grew up on a catfish farm in Pleasantville, Indiana in Greene County. You may be able to look that up. I certainly couldn’t make it up. Most of my adult life was lived in Sullivan, Indiana (next county over from Greene). My husband and I moved to Illinois after all the kids moved.

Scott and I got married in May 1998. We have three children, a grandson, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, three granddogs and one grandcat, three dogs, and an African Gray parrot.
